Hollywood Racks RV and Camper Bike Racks Review - 2021 Jeep Gladiator- Video
Today we're taking a look at the Hollywood Racks RV Rider on our 2021 Jeep Gladiator. This is gonna be a great choice if you have a lot of heavy bikes that you need to get to and from the trail. It's going to have an 80 pound weight capacity which is very, very high whenever it comes to bikes. That's going to be able to handle most of your mountain bikes, your heavier fat tire bikes and even electric bikes. Now right off the bat, this is RV approved which is great because it works on everything except for let's say a travel trailer. So if you have a van or you have a RV fifth wheel basically it'll work on everything and that's great but whenever it's on your Jeep, you can actually tilt it away. more

Today we're taking a look at the Hollywood Racks RV Rider on our 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee.This is going to be a really good rack if you're looking to carry a lot of different bikes and especially if you're going to be using a motorhome or a fifth wheel and then you're wanting to carry it on your Jeep or another vehicle in the family whenever you're not traveling. This is a very versatile rack. We get all of those capabilities when we're talking about campers and fifth wheels, we can't pull it on bumper pull campers, but we're going to just focus on the Jeep Grand Cherokee here today.With this being a versatile rack, you can see I have an electric mountain bike on here today. This is a really good capacity, 80 pounds. more

Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Jeep Patriot- Video
Hey everyone, today we have a 2015 Jeep Patriot, and we're going to do a test. We have the Thule Range 4 Bike Hanging style rack.Now this bike rack's actually designed to be used for motorhomes primarily. It's got reinforcement around its construction, around its base. Just going to make sure it can take those high impacts and those long road trips that you might be taking with your motorhome. We'll get into that when we get the bike off, when we take a closer look at that.It has an onboard cable lock which comes from the mast right here. You bring it up and over your bikes, comes across the frame, then actually goes into the slot right there. more

Yakima RV and Camper Bike Racks Review - 2015 Jeep Patriot y02476- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Jeep Patriot, we'll be doing a review on the Yakama long haul four bike rack, part number Y02476.First, I'd like to start by talking about the physical construction of the bike rack. This bike rack is built a little bit heavier than most, simply because it's built to go on the back of RVs or campers, so there's minimal to no movement on this bike rack.And the next, we'll go on to the zip-strip system that the Yakama has in place. You just simply pull the two tabs, pull up on the zip strip, and it's just as easy to replace.Now here, with the locking cable, you just simply unlock the locking cable, releasing access to all four of your bikes. Take the cable and push it back down into the pillar on the bike rack.Now, to take these off your bike, you start with the top ones. You take these off here, and then you can remove it from the anti-sway cradle on the back side of the upper post on your bike. And you can remove your bike.And I'd like to replace these, before you forget about 'em, they get lost or damaged in your garage or wherever you might be.Now, let's get a few measurements. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we're gonna be test fitting the Yakima Longhaul 4 bike rack. And that's gonna be part number, Y02476. As you can see we do already have a bike installed. So let's take a look at some of the features.Now as you can see on the ends of our arms, we are gonna have these bottle openers that Yakima has on all their bike racks. Right here we're gonna see this little notch, and that's gonna be for our integrative cable lock system, which is gonna come up from the base of our bike rack.We simply just pull it out from here, wrap it around your bikes, and then this little insert goes right over the notch. You will get a set of keys with your bike rack to be able to unlock the cable, and unload your bikes.You simply might just have to push that back in when you're done. more

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Jeep Patriot- Video
Today in our 2015 jeep patriot, we've got out the Swagman Trailhead. Now this is a full length style non tilting four bike rack. As you can see it's of the hanging style. This is been designed for use in two inch hitches and it is RV approved. Part number on it is S63381. Now the Trailhead is going to use four straps to hold our bike in place. more

Today on our 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we've got out the Swag Man Trail Head RV approved four bike rack. This is designed to fold down, and it's also for use with 2 inch hitches. Part number S63381. Now this RV approved bike rack is going to do a great job behind, whether your using it on your car, motor home, your RV, whatever the case may be of holding our bike in place. This has four straps. It's one additional then we see on a lot of bike racks. more

SportRack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee SR2405- Video
Today on our 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we're going to be doing a test of the SportRack Ridge 5 Hang-Style 5 Bike Rack, part number SR2405. As you can see, we've already got a bike on our platform so you can see what it's going to look like once you have it all installed on the back of your Jeep. Let's start off my getting a few measurements. Our closest distance will be first. That's going to be from the bottom side down here on the flange and bracket to the backside of the receiver of about 1-7/8". Overall distance that we added to the vehicle will be from the rear of the bumper to the backside of the cradle arms, at about 37-1/2". Our ground clearance from the bottom side of the shank, at about 13". Let's talk about how the bike's secured. more

SportRack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited SR2405- Video
Today on our 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're gonna be doing a test fit of the Sport Rack Ridge 5. It's gonna be your hanging style 5-bike rack; PAR number SR2405. This is gonna be you're tilting style. It's gonna come with a 2 inch shank for your 2 inch hitches only, and as you can see we've already got a bike up here installed and in place so that you can see what it's going to look like, and how it's gonna fit before we go through all the measurements. Our first measurement we're gonna give, is gonna be our closest distance first. But the thing to note with this is it does have 2 different threaded holes, so this is gonna be the furthest in that it can be. There is another one that's gonna give you the ability to let it sit out a little bit further. more

SportRack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Jeep Cherokee- Video
Today on our 2015 Jeep Cherokee, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Sport Rack Ridge 5. This is going to be your hanging style 5 bike rack. It does come with your inch and a quarter shank, but if you use your inch and a quarter clasp on it, class 2 hitches, just remember that you can only carry two bikes. If you use the 2 inch adapter with your 2 inch hitches, you can carry all 5 bikes. It's going to be part number SR2405. We're going to go ahead and fit it onto our 2 inch receiver that we have here today. Insert the shank into the receiver and line up your pin holes. more
